Stray Rocket is a guide to skateparks, those magical places where the rubber meets the concrete — or wood, or masonite. You get the idea.

My name is Chris. I’m a lifelong skater. This is me skating the mini ramp in my backyard around 1990 when I was around 18 years old.

Now, many years later, my son Kai and I hit up skateparks on a regular basis. I realized that info on parks is spotty at best.

I figured that if I’m doing the research anyway, I should share what I’ve discovered with other skaters. So here we are.

StrayRocket is a place for us to document our skatepark adventures as well provide a guide for parks around the country.
