Carpinteria Skatepark Overview
Carpinteria is more famous for its surfing – thanks to the iconic surf spot Rincon – but things are looking up for skateboarding.
The new park, designed by Dreamland Skateparks, will open on the site of an old roller hockey rink next to the town’s city hall.
The design calls for a flow bowl with several sections including an integrated mini-ramp, spine, and several pockets. The park will also have an expansive street plaza with a fun box, numerous banks, stairs, handrails, and lots of other features.
It’s a cool-looking design that should lend itself to all sorts of interesting lines.
