Hansen Dam Skatepark Overview
Hansen Dam Skatepark is located in an open space and recreational near Hansen Dam, a flood control area in northeastern San Fernando Valley that’s situated in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Lake View Terrace.
The skatepark was designed and built by Spohn Ranch Skateparks and opened in 2012.
The park is arranged in a large loop, anchored by a multi-section flow bowl that includes several round pockets, a cradle and a square bowl that doubles as a mini-half.
A concrete path loops from the bowl, around a planter area, and then back to the bowl. Along the path are several banks, edges, rails, an A-frame and other street features.
