Long Branch Skatepark Overview
One of the main reasons so many skaters love the 7 Presidents Skatepark and are willing to travel from all over the Northeast to skate it is because it has two separate and distinct bowls.
The 7 Presidents Skatepark has also been known to attract top talent from all over the country who come to the park for film and photoshoots for skate videos, magazines, and online publications.
The smaller bow that was part of the original construction is not a small bowl at all with two different sections and lots of room to move, grind, and catch some air. The second bowl that was part of the park’s expansion is massive.
The newer large flow bowl added an additional 5,000 square feet to the skatepark. Also, the large bowl has three different sections including a mini ramp section and several other skate obstacles that encourage skaters to get creative with how they approach this mammoth bowl design.
Other than the two large bowls, the 7 Presidents skatepark boasts an impressive street plaza outfitted with skateable planters, a funbox complete with a bump to bump, a ribbon quarterpipe combo that can provide some incredible images for photoshoots, along with manual pads, stairs, rails, hubbas, and more.
The facility is open year-round for skaters of all ages and skill levels, however, skaters under the age of 17 must wear a helmet, and skaters over the age of 17 are strongly encouraged to do so as well. Elbow pads, kneepads, and wrist guards are also strongly recommended.
Another important thing to note is that during the summer months, the Park System does offer skateboarding lessons and clinics for anyone who may be looking for some tips or to learn a few new tricks.
Anyone is allowed to signup for skateboarding lessons or attend the one-day clinics if they preregister online.
The 7 Presidents Skatepark is open every day at 8 am and closes around dusk. The Park System does reserve the right to close the park due to severe weather or adverse safety conditions at any time.
