Skatepark Overview
Beyer Park, located at the southeast end of Beyer Boulevard in San Ysidro, will include a dedicated skatepark as part of a larger redevelopment of a 43-acre parcel of long-vacant city land.
The skatepark is planned to be approximately 19,375 square feet, making it a significant facility for skaters in a neighborhood that currently lacks such amenities.
Beyond the skatepark’s size, the overall Phase 1 build-out will include a children’s play area, a half basketball court, shaded picnic zones, walking paths and trails, landscape and lighting improvements, and on-site parking.
Construction began in 2024, and this first phase, including the skatepark, is scheduled for completion by spring 2026.
