Hemet Skatepark Overview

Hemet Skatepark is a well-designed skatepark in the Riverside County town of Hemet that offers a nice mix of transition features, including a vert bowl, flow bowl and and large street plaza that mixes small transition and street features.

Opened in 2023, the park was designed by Kanten Russel of New Line Skateparks, a California-based skatepark design firm. Known for designing the much-loved Poods Skatepark in Encinitas, California, Kanten’s design for the street plaza section of the Hemet park harkens a bit to the Poods design.

The large bowl which has a vert round section and square shallow end is well made, large but still fast. The smaller flow bowl takes some getting used to but offers many possibilities for creative lines.
