They say “everything is bigger in Texas” and that sure seems to be the case when it comes to skateparks. The state boasts some of the country and the world’s best parks — if not the best temperatures for skating them.
Northeast Metro Skatepark, located in Pflugerville, a Travis County town on the outskirts of the Austin metro area, is over 41,000-square-feet in size and includes a wide range of skateable terrain.

The Pflugerville skatepark includes two enclosed multisection bowls and smaller-scale flow bowls and snake runs, including one that has an off-shoot mini ramp.
The park also includes a sprawling skate plaza with tons of street features, such as banks, stairs, steps, hubbas, rails, ledges, and manual pads.
