Bangor Skatepark Overview
Opened in 2021, Bangor Maine Skatepark is a compact but feature-rich concrete park located in Bangor’s Hayford Park.
The park was a long-overdue replacement for a previous park that was moved to a temporary location on a concrete slab and lingered there for 9 years.
Designed by the American Ramp Company, the Bangor skatepark is square-shaped overall and offers your standard modern street plaza fare. This includes a stair set with handrail and hubba, a pyramid/A-frame combo with A-shaped hubba and rail, quarter pipe, range of ledges, manual pads, and a flat rail.
The park also includes a small flow bowl shaped like a B with a spine connecting the two sides.
