Memorial Field Skatepark Overview
Memorial Field Skatepark, located in Mount Vernon, New York, reopened to the public in February 2023 after a decade of being closed.
The skatepark, designed by Pillar Design Studios, is part of a larger $40 million renovation project for Memorial Field, which also includes an athletic field and a grandstand that can accommodate 3,900 spectators.
The in-ground concrete skatepark makes the most of an odd, triangular lot. There’s a good amount of variety, with a mini-snake run and street plaza.
The Memorial Field Skatepark is located at the intersection of East Sandford Boulevard and Garden Avenue in Mount Vernon and is easily accessible by car or public transportation. The skatepark is open from 8 a.m. to dusk every day, and admission is free.
