The Exposure event was created to increase the representation of powerful female, trans, and nonbinary skateboarders in the media and to challenge societal norms. The event raises awareness and donates proceeds to a local shelter for survivors of domestic violence. This dual purpose serves to strengthen women and gender minorities in the community and beyond. A key feature of this event is the vendor village that showcases women and LGBTQ+ focused, health, and socially-conscious companies.
